The number of outdoor adventure blogs continues to grow and grow each year. This is not surprising since we have seen the numbers of people wanting to enjoy the benefits of the outdoors likewise increasing at a significant rate.
It is only understandable that the desire people feel to blog about the many beautiful outdoor experiences fuels this growth as more and more people catch on to how wonderful getting away from the cities is for most of us. The COVID 19 pandemic that we have all been facing for over a year now, has had a huge impact on people wanting to get away from the everyday madness of ‘civilization’ to find peace and solitude, safe from the worries of crowds and the need to practice social distancing.
So how does the average person find the best options and information relevant to his/her circumstances? Blogs focusing on the outdoors can be a really useful resource as they can hold valuable information that can enhance our planning and experience when out in nature in different locations across the globe. Everything from being safe to knowing where the more fabulous sites are can be found online via sites that dedicate their content to exploring the wonders of nature.

Finding the best outdoorsy adventure sites
Clearly, not all outdoor adventure blogs are created to the same standard or have the same goals when it comes to providing quality for readers and subscribers. All sites are different in the way they focus on what their specific audience wants, depending on the special interest their readership might have. Personally, I always love to read other blogs whenever time allows me, to keep up with trends and various ideas and perspectives, especially in different parts of the world. Searching online can be a bit of a hit-and-miss affair at times but you can find some real gems.
Generally, however, provided you assume the reader has a genuine interest or love of the outdoors, most sites usually have some value to be found. The question is always about finding the best blog(s) that suit you and your situation the most.
A good indicator of whether a blog is worth checking out is when similar outdoor-focused bloggers recommend it as having worthwhile content. This is why I always find blog lists published by other blogs to be a good source of information. This is essentially a case of someone else already having done the background work to uncover the best options online for you.
A 2021 Outdoor Adventure Blogs list to check out
Very recently it was brought to my attention that Camping for Women had been included in a list of 60 Best Outdoor, Camping and Hiking Blogs to follow in 2021.
Aside from feeling happy that Camping for Women has been again recognised for the wonderful content that all our fabulous contributors share, I was really interested to go through who made the list. Quite apart from many of the larger and well-known blogs and sites, I was both interested and pleased to find some blogs that are new to me. There is also some great information that is very useful to many looking for ideas from outdoor adventure blogs. Again, each has their own specific focus so it will depend on what most interests you as to what will constitute a great site.
This list was published by The Camper Lifestyle who describe themselves as outdoor enthusiasts with the main writers being two women and a man who according to their ‘about us’ page, focus a lot on reviewing and advising on outdoor gear.

I love reading outdoor adventure and travel blogs these days. That’s the safest way to travel during this pandemic.
I guess I couldn’t argue with that point, Ivan, although it would be good to use this time to perhaps plan what we would love to do/where we would love to go when it is safe to travel once more.
I needed to see this list. We are planning on buying a trailer this summer and now I have a place to look for resources all in one place! Thanks!
That’s so great to hear, Rachel. Here’s hoping you have a wonderful summer ahead!
So many ways to adventure outdoors now and it’s always good to do some research beforehand. So it’s nice that outdoor blogs are getting some recognition.
That’s true, Di, especially for blogs enjoying a much larger audience at the moment, while it is still not safe to travel to many places. Hopefully, these experiences will benefit many new readers as they adventure outdoors more.
Congratulations on making it in yet another list again! You are right, this past year turned people to appreciate the outdoor more. This list will help them to get more great inspirations of places, activities, gears, etc. for their next excursion.
Thank you very much, Umiko. If there is one thing that the pandemic has done is to entice more people to explore the outdoors and discover how wonderful it is to escape the cities.
Perfect for those very into camping. Thank you for sharing!
You are very welcome, Nkem. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for sharing this list! I love spending time outside and some of the best tips I’ve had for places to go and kit to invest in have come from other bloggers x
So many people feel the same way in that regard, Bethan. I’m so happy there are a number of blogs here for you to review.

User generated content or reviews from real users have a higher engagement rate compared to content produced by brands. It’s great that there are so many micro influencers available in the outdoor adventure marketplace
I couldn’t agree with you more, Alvern. It’s one of the things we try to focus on here in working with our adventurous contributors and all the wonderful information and experiences they have to share.
One thing I am grateful for from this year is that I have been getting outdoors more and visiting national parks. I love that the list is broken down by type and will spend some time checking out the hiking blogs right now, having a place or two to reference will be so helpful.
That’s so good to hear, Sherianne and I hope you find some really relevant information to assist you.
Excited when traveling opens up again in our country! Looking forward to it! For now, browsing here and there would suffice. Hehe.
It all gives us much food for thought and planning for when the time comes, Michael!
I agree with you. There’s an increase in this niche on a daily basis. However, finding outstanding resources can be difficult sometimes. But that being said, you also do a great job here. It’s great to see Camping for Women on that list.
Thank you so much, Viano. Your comment is greatly appreciated.
Love the list, especially for those that are looking in this particular niche. I’m surprised there are only 4 in the glamping category. I know that this has become super popular and it’s a bit more accessible for those that like certain aspects of camping but with the comforts of home.
I do get what you mean, Renee. Bear in mind though that we all have different preferences and the blog compiling this list would primarily focus on their interests.
Great list! I hadn’t thought about using Reddit for my camping and adventures research. I guess I’ll be using it more often! I also really like the REI blog as well.
Thanks, Yanitza. There’s plenty of great material and ideas there.
What a wonderful list of the best of this blog genre. I will check them out!
Thanks, Amy. Hope you get some really good value from it.
What a great compilation! Thanks for sharing this list, really helpful for us ????
You are really welcome Ana. So good that you like it.
The list of blogs I follow ebbs and flows from year to year. Some is based on content and some on interest at the time. I often look to the lists of the best blogs to follow to find new ones for my feed. I am sure everyone will find a new blog or two to follow.
That’s for sure, Linda. There always seem to be new and interesting blogs popping up to provide different ideas and information.
This list is super awesome, thanks for being so helpful.
Our pleasure, Krysten. Really happy you like it.
yessss to camping!!!! I love it and love reading about it!!! Thank you so so much.
You are so welcome, Chad. Thanks for checking it out.
Wow! That is a complete list. If someone can’t find some things they like with that list, then I think they don’t like the outdoors or adventure.
Thanks so much, Sally. I would tend to agree with you. There is a lot of variety of quality blogs there.
I feel like a lot of times the adventure blog space can get convoluted, so this is a great list with some great specifics to check out! I always feel inspired after reading blogs like this. Can’t wait to take a trip to the outdoors soon!
That’s wonderful, Chloe! So pleased this looks to be a great list of resources for you.
