Let’s face it, not everyone wants a Paris themed bridal shower. Sometimes embracing a favorite childhood memory or activity can be the magical theme every bridal shower needs. Whether you met your lifelong best friends at summer camp, simply love the outdoors or the annual glamping with the girls is your mojo, a camping themed bridal shower could beat the Paris cliche anytime.
To help put together the perfect camping or glamping bridal shower, we compiled a few fun ideas that are sure to guarantee your guests and bride-to-be a good time.
Summer Camp Games & Bingo
Summer camp games are the perfect ice-breaker for bridesmaids who don’t know each other. Some classics include telephone, charades, scavenger hunts and bingo. These activities are bound to spread laughter among the group and keep the vibe upbeat.
One of the main bridal showers focuses is opening gifts. Playing bridal shower bingo is an exciting way to get all guests involved while predicting what exists underneath the wrapping paper. Shutterfly created a few bridal bingo printables with blank spaces to write in your own guesses. From floral to nautical, there are different themes to match your bridal shower’s aesthetic.
Wondering what to write in your printable empty spaces? Some safe assumptions include kitchen items such as a blender, waffle makers, skillet, coffee makers and lingerie. If you’ve known the bride for a while, incorporate a couple unique answers that other guests won’t have on their boards.
Campfire Hors D’oeuvres
From s’mores and hotdogs to grilled cheese and baked beans, one of the challenges for some campers is cooking and preparing food for a party. Campfire camping challenges people to think innovatively with their cooking since an oven, microwave and stovetop aren’t usually available (unless you’re glamping, of course!).
Incorporating classic campfire foods to a bridal shower can take camping food innovation to the next level. Consider serving campfire themed hors d’oeuvres at your party and include cold meats, cheeses, and canned foods like olives or even tuna to make a salad.
Skewers scream camping. Most people use skewers to roast marshmallows or meat kabobs. Elevate this idea by making all your hors d’oeuvres bite-size and on a skewer. This can include meats and veggies or fruits and toasted marshmallows. The more creative, the better!
It has anti-aging properties and boosts your strength to perform better in bed and offer her enhanced sexual pleasure. viagra canada online Decorative showpieces like hookahs and many more antiques magnificently augment are the first option that most of the people prefer to decorate their house. cialis on line purchase An unaddressed syndrome could cause quite a few problems. deeprootsmag.org viagra online canadian Kamagra is the great medicine of curing the PAH, the power of Sildenafil citrate will be 20 mg to 25 mg and levitra prescription in time of ED patients in the UK eagerly seek medical assistance immediately.
Glamping in the Woods
If you’re a die-hard camping enthusiast, glamping or camping in the woods could be your ideal bridal shower destination. What better way to embrace a camping theme? Whether your style is pup tents or a cabin, stick with a camping trip that’s authentic to you.
Sometimes planning a group hike can be the most engaging activity for all of your guests. Not only does a hike embrace adventure, but having minimal cellular service can tightly bond your group. It’s likely some challenges may arise along the way like a flooded path but overcoming these challenges and reaching the end as a team can be satisfying for everyone!
Furthermore, planning a day hike to a waterfall can embrace the magic a bride feels leading up to the big day. Don’t forget to pack the essentials like water, snacks, sunscreen, and a first-aid kit to minimize risk. Ultimately, glamping in the woods can be a unique way to celebrate your next big adventure: marriage.
Outdoor Decor Indoors
Now that we’ve looked at food, location and games—let’s talk decorations! Decoration is perceived as one of the easiest ways to embrace a theme. However, an outdoor theme can be most challenging due to the variety of climates, plants and season. People don’t soley camp in the woods. Some people camp in deserts and during snowy seasons. Identifying what season and camping style should be your first step before searching for decorations.
Once you’ve decided on a specific camping theme, it’s time to decorate! For example, a desert camping theme will likely incorporate mini cacti, wildflowers, sand and rocks which you can easily find at your location. Bring some colorful, paper centerpieces and paper flowers to create a photo wall to fully develop your ideal camping theme. Paper decor is light to carry and recyclable!
Choosing a bridal shower theme that’s reflective of the bride-to-be can be more meaningful than a fairytale. Make it a night to remember with games, decorations, food and a location that all embody the same theme. Happy planning!

These are such unique ideas. It is true that not everyone wants something traditional. This is a great theme!
I can’t agree more. Indeed not everyone wants a Paris themed bridal shower.
A camping based, outdoor bridal shower sounds absolutely fantastic! Having camping games as an icebreaker between bridesmaids is just a great idea.
Glamping in woods sounds fun! Hiking & then showering under a waterwall is the best way to get rid of all anxiety and stress!
This is such a great, low-key bridal shower idea! I went on a bachelorette camping excursion once and it was a blast! I even thought how much fun a camping bridal shower would also be. I love the simplicity of the event and how more focus is put on spending time together versus over the top games and activities. There are certainly enough things to keep your guests preoccupied, but I love the emphasis on connection and peace. Definitely keeping this in mind for a few friends of mine when they finally tie the knot!
I really wanted to do a hiking/outdoors trip for my bachelorette party but didn’t think many of my friends would enjoy it. I love the idea of a glamping trip – I think that’s a great balance between exploring the outdoors and still living with the comforts and luxuries that many want and need. Love the campfire idea too – there’s so much you can do around a campfire and it doesn’t just have to be burgers and hotdogs!
This sounds like so much fun! I love the idea of really taking the brides personality into consideration when planning a shower. Doing something non traditional would be truly memorable for the bride (and everyone else!) Glamping especially sounds awesome!
These look so much fun! My sister is getting married, she would love this idea too.
I have never had a bridal shower camping trip. But it is interesting to see what Campfire Hors D’oeuvres are. I think families with kids would like this idea as well.
Amazing idea and like your thought about bridal shower. Camping bridal shower party is quite unique and i don’t know anybody has experienced it.
These are such cute ideas! I know quite a few women that I think would really love this kind of bridal shower. Thanks for the great ideas!
Camping seems so much fun. This summer, I was so determined to go camping and I failed to do so. It’s not too late to plan something with my girls.
how unique! I have never been much of an outdoor person, I am allergic to a lot of stuff, and always carry an EpiPen, however, I have a few friends who would jump for joy at this idea. Very cool – blessings!
There are some great party ideas here for sure. Love the idea of the glamping in the woods xx
Wow! a unique yet adventurous idea! I’ve never thought about glamping but yes! a totally yes, it would be cool, the mood will set everyone and it will really be something very new. Great share!
AWESOME read! I feel like everyone chooses the same cities to visit and the same things to do for bridal showers. This is an awesome idea, I’ll be showing it to my cousin who LOVES the outdoors and is getting married soon. I’ve yet to do glamping, but what better way to try it than with all of your girlfriends by your side? So much fun.
I’d never have thought of going camping for a bridal shower, but hey, why not! I love the sound of glamping outdoors (as a flashpacker) and the campfire Hors D’oeuvres! You’ve given some great tips for other brides to be that enjoy a spot of the outdoors!
Oh, I love this! I am not getting married again yet, but maybe… These are neat ideas to throw to my bride tribe if I take that plunge again! 🙂
You had me at “Campfire Hors D’oeuvres”! I’ve always sort of dismissed camping but have been trying to expand my horizons lately so I’ll certainly add this to my “must try” list!
Campfire Hors D’oeuvres! Now, that’s something that might get me camping. I’m always turned off by the thought of eating meat out of a can that looks like dog food, but if I could partake in some tasty ors d’oeuvre I might be up for it.
What a fun way to have a bridal shower. I loved the sound of Bridal bingo. Pity I aint a bride but would love to go through that one. Glamping in the woods somehow reminded me of the bridal part described in the book Crazy Rich Asians. 😉 Bet this one would be a lot of fun!
I love the idea of glamping! This sounds like so much fun! I think I may have to try this out when I renew my vows!!
These are super fun and unique ideas which I’ve honestly never seen! I recently saw a bridal shower with an “At the horse races” theme. Everyone wore fancy hats. It was so cute!
I love this so much. This is such a great option for someone who doesn’t want to be all girly for their bridal shower. Sometimes it’s more fun just to get outdoors!
How fun would this be for anyone who loves nature and camping!? I love how creative these ideas are!
What a fun idea for a bachelorette party.
I agree that a bridal shower should reflect the bride. I never thought about a camping bridal shower themed party, probably because I’ve never been camping lol. This has made me start to think of what then I will have! I’m not currently engaged but I know it’s coming soon!
