It casts a mystical glow on a city that embodies a stunning amalgamation of history, culture, and tradition. It seems to be a chapter in history that is animated and full of colour. We planned to visit the many magnificent palaces and forts in the city but with a difference and you will see what I mean.

In fact, it may be difficult to cover all of them in one trip. So here’s a list of top activities to do in Jodhpur that you shouldn’t miss on your next trip.

My recent trip to Jodhpur India made me realize that we need to travel when we are young. Travel to experience the beautiful outdoors and what Nature has to offer in that location. I have done plenty of other touristy things in Jodhpur which you can read more on my website Sweetannu.com

We are sorry we did not get to Jodhpur when we were in India. Any place that has a warm and sunny climate all year would be perfect for us. Zip lines sound like a fun way to see some of the sights. And we would love to do a desert safari through the golden sands. I am sure the sunset view is one we would remember forever.
Yes please!! Zip wires and paragliding are deffo our kind of activities. This sounds like the perfect break away x
Whoa this looks like some amazing stuff to do in Jodhpur. I’ve done a couple of these things, but paragliding looks so fun!
This is an amazing resource! I would be totally game for everything but the paragliding…I think I’d be too scared to attempt that lol. Adding Jodhpur to my travel bucket list!!!
This is a delight to read, especially since I did manage to see most of it. The ziplining is so much fun and a great way to scale the palace heights. Cycling through the city is a must do, especially in the smaller lanes of the old city. I only managed to see a small part of the Jodha Rao desert. But I hear, it is extremely rich with some of those desert birds especially vultures.
I’m loving this. I’d anyday prefer Jodhpur over Jaipur and I’m happy to know these outdoor options in the city. I really wouldn’t miss ziplining and paragliding in Mehrangarh fort. Glamping in Osian would be super cool with the desert safari, wildlife spotting and cultural performances. I really need to plan my trip to Rajasthan!
Ziplining and paragliding seem so adventurous and fun! Although, I would totally take a bike tour. I love that there are so many outdoor things to do – I had no idea!
I was in Jodhpur 12 years ago, so your post brought back beautiful memories. This is one of the most beautiful cities in India I have ever seen. But when I was in it, there were not so many activities like Ziplining, Paragliding, or even Cycle Ride. I think it is a perfect idea to experience these outdoor activities. I would love to go back to the Blue City and try them.
Jodhpur apart from the blue city is also known for its adventure activities . I would love to do a ziplining and paragliding out there . Also cycling through the streets for relising the local street is the best way to cherish the city.
I used to have a friend at work who grew up in Chennai. He always has great stories about how beautiful his country is. I hope I can visit someday. Jodhpur looks like an adventurer’s paradise. My sons would love it there!
It looks like you kicked half my bucket list in one trip!
I would like to try ziplining once but I am sure I would scream my lungs out. These are all great ideas.
This is so cool! I had been to Jodhpur ten years back and then there were no zip-lining or paragliding option in the city. So glad to see these awesome outdoor options available in this beautiful historical city! I still remember the desert safari experience I had over there, one of the best I have had till date due to the local music. Can only imagine how interesting the other options you have mentioned would be 😀 Can’t wait to visit the city again now!
I haven’t been to India before but it does seem lovely with amazing fun activites. I think it takes a lot of balls to go ziplining or paragliding. Just what if… what if the rope gives way?
Jodhpur has indeed been one of the best cities where i stayed. I still remember how we used to go on late night drives towards the Umaid Bhawan Palace, and how Mehrangarh Fort was the go to place, whenever any relative turned up at our homes. I would have loved to experience the Zip Lining and Para Gliding, but when i was there, these werent in operation. Looks like I might need to take a trip to Jodhpur again.
There seem to be quite a few exciting things to do in Jodhpur if you are an adrenaline junkie. I’ll have to confess that I wouldn’t enjoy doing some of these things, like paragliding or zip lining. However, I’d love to do a safari to see some boars and the deer. I would also enjoy hiking in the Jodha Desert Rock Park.
This takes off the beaten path to a new level! I’ve not been to India at all but I thank you for highlighting a more sporty and active side of travel to India.
Jodhpur looks like a lot of fun! I love the outdoors so this is up my alley! Thanks for breaking down the cost too! 🙂
Everything looks amazing – now I want to go there
This is my kind of activities! take me here lol. Will definitely keep this in mind when we visit the country. woohoo! seems so much fun! hehe
These all look absolutely amazing! I don’t know where I would start, but the paragliding looks like a lot of fun! I have always wanted to do that. The Osian safari village and safari ride sounds great to. I would love to stay in one of those tents and seeing the wild boars and deer would be a highlight for me. When I get the chance to visit India I will definitely be adding Jodhpur to the itinerary.
That’s an interesting trip you had making me want to start travelling now. ????
These all look like amazing spots. I’ve always wanted to try paragliding but I have yet to have an opportunity present itself. Hopefully one day!
The rock park sounds like a great place to visit when traveling to Jodhpur.
Wow! What an incredible trip. The cycle ride looks like so much fun.
Looks like an amazing place to have an adventure. A friend of mine traveled to India by herself and had the time of her life.
Those are some amazing views! I love zip lining and can’t wait to do it again. My last zip lining adventure was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. If I’m ever in India, I’ll check these places out.
