Although I am yet to do camping during winters, I do go out without fail during this time. Your tips are great and would be really useful coming from someone who does a lot of camping.

What a great idea to go camping during the holidays and cook your feast over the campfire! I have never really considered sending a holiday postcard, did not think it was something people did but I love the idea! Of course, the weather needs to be looked at, one must make sure they’re warm enough if they’re gonna be camping in the winter.

I like camping and we did it once during Thanksgiving Break. Fortunately at where we live it’s not too cold, although we got below zero on the first night. I think to decorate the campsite during the holiday camping is a great idea. I never thought about doing it.

I too liked the idea of gift exchange the most. Never done that in my previous travels. Though camping during winters is something I can’t get myself to do. Nevertheless, it all sounds so much fun with all the activities you mentioned. Great wanderlust quotes.

I love hiking and being outdoors but I’m no longer much of a camper. Glamping and trailer camping for sure but I’ve long put aside my tent. The gift exchange sounds fun. We love doing White Elephant exchanges, it’s always exciting to see what people brought.

Great guide here and being from the United Kingdom, I wouldn’t have thought about camping outdoors during the winter. Am I right to assume that is for people who want to camp into the warmer states of America? But to be honest, this does sound appealing, getting away from all the commercialism of Christmas and to be with nature.
