Highlights of the S2 Expedition RV Cover
Let’s dive into the positives, and trust me, there are plenty. What caught my attention right off the bat were the heavy-duty zippers strategically placed all around the cover. It’s like they knew exactly where I needed easy access – from the door to storage compartments, everything was just a zip away. Setting up and breaking down camp became a breeze, thanks to these well-thought-out features. I avoided trying it out as our temperatures were in the 90’s, but once we finally did it, we realized it was so much easier than we expected.
Cover Storage Bag
The oversized storage bag is a game-changer. Equipped with a generously sized zippered area, packing and unpacking the cover is now a hassle-free affair. No more struggling to squeeze it back into a tiny bag; the storage solution is as generous as the cover is protective. In addition the overall weight of the bag and cover is not bad. I was able to move it around by myself, but finding a location to store it when camping was not as easy. We always run out of space when traveling.
Quality
Reinforcement is the name of the game when it comes to camper covers, and the S2 Expedition doesn’t disappoint. The corners of the cover boast reinforced fabric, adding an extra layer of durability and protection to those high-stress areas. This touch not only reassures me about the cover’s longevity but also gives it a rugged, ready-for-anything aesthetic.
Fit
The snug fit is another strategy in the S2 Expedition cover. Wrapping around my camper like a well-fitted glove, the cover ensures a secure and protective enclosure. And here’s where those heavy-duty zippers come into play again – making covering the camper a straightforward task, ensuring that every nook and cranny is shielded from the elements.
Securing the cover
Securing the cover is a crucial aspect, especially when the wind starts to howl. The S2 Expedition tackles this challenge with several sturdy plastic buckles equipped with quick-connect features. Strapping the cover down becomes a swift and efficient process, providing peace of mind during those gusty nights in the storage facility.
Now, let’s address the minor hiccups in this otherwise stellar performance. One small concern is the lack of reinforcement around the zippers. While the zippers themselves are heavy-duty, a bit of extra reinforcement in this critical area could go a long way in enhancing the cover’s overall robustness.
Fabric on the back of camper
Another point to ponder is the appearance of the heavy-duty fabric.
It looks light and fibrous, raising questions about its long-term durability, especially when faced with prolonged exposure to the sun and other harsh weather elements.
Only time will reveal how well the fabric holds up under these challenging conditions.
In conclusion, the S2 Expedition RV Cover has earned its spot as a reliable protector of my mobile haven. The thoughtful design, convenient features, and snug fit make it a valuable addition to any camper’s toolkit. Despite minor concerns about zipper reinforcement and long-term fabric durability, the positives far outweigh the negatives. I’m eager to see how this cover weathers the seasons and keeps my camper cozy and protected.
Let’s take a closer look at the features that make the S2 Expedition stand out:
**Durable Fabric with Tru-Weave Technology:**
The heavy-duty Tru-Weave technology ensures superior breathability, preventing moisture buildup. The full coverage marine-grade fabric provides waterproof protection, and the Durapel UV Inhibitors offer maximum sunlight protection, reducing material aging.
**Unique Design Features:**
The Endurance Roof Strap System reduces stress on roof seams and fabric, ensuring longevity. Sewn-in dual flow vortex vents minimize lofting in high winds and promote air circulation. Anti-hit reflective panels not only add safety but also enhance nighttime visibility. Everest Glove extended zipper pulls make operation easy even on chilly days.
**Adjustable Tension Panels and Landscape Pull Technology:**
The adjustable full-length tension panels at the front and rear contribute to the snug fit, securing the cover against the elements. Integrated Landscape Pull Technology Security Flags add an extra layer of protection.
**Additional Accessories:**
The S2 Expedition comes with a 3-year warranty, an Executive Duffle Bag, an Integrated Strap System with a Toss Bag, a Ladder Cap, and a Reinforcement Patch – covering all the bases for a worry-free camping experience.

In the grand scheme of things, the S2 Expedition RV Cover has proven to be a solid investment for safeguarding my camper. It’s a good idea to cover up ones RV to protect it fro dust and moisture when not traveling. The S2 Expedition RV Cover looks a great product with its design and features.Probably would recommend to my friends.
Thank you for this review! I have been researching rv covers for a while, and would seriously be considering this one now. I also like that they throw in a few additional accessories too!
I never thought of having covers for RVs. Of course, like all cars they too need covers to protect them from harsh weather conditions. The national S2 expedition rv cover looks like the best. Extra reinforcement around the zippers is important to make it a snug fit.The quality is also important and so the reinforced fabric adding extra layer is a plus point. It looks like a great product for RV protection.
I’ve seen people put covers on their RVs and I think it’s a good thing to do for the longevity of the RV. I like that S2 Expedition’s durable fabric helps prevent moisture buildup. Nobody wants molds on their RVs. I wonder if my friends have covers for their RVs. If not, S2 Expedition sounds like a good one for them.
Pauline, your review on the National S2 Expedition RV Cover is spot-on! Those heavy-duty zippers and the oversized storage bag are game-changers. I can imagine the snug fit and the efficient securing with sturdy plastic buckles. Thanks for sharing your experience and insights. Happy camping!
Well silly me, I never thought of a cover for an RV. I think I can be forgiven though as I have not been in one – although it really is on my list of things to do. Now I know where to find a durable cover for it – the thing that I like most about the national s2 expedition rv cover, is that it seems to have the user in mind for the features such as the oversized cover and the heavy duty zippers
If we owned an RV we would definitely be looking for a good cover to keep it looking new when not in use. A high quality cover would be essential for something like this that needs to be put on and off. And it needs to withstand constant exposure to the elements. I had not thought about needing extra reinforcement around the zippers. And having adjustable tension pulls sounds like a great feature of the S2 Expedition RV cover.
I have actually never travelled in an RV, so I didn’t know that you need to cover it, to keep it protected by the elements. I thought you can just store it on your driveway until your next trip. This cover sounds very good, especially because of the snug fit and the heavy duty zippers. It’s great that they are everywhere, so if you need to access the RV you don’t need to take the entire cover off.
Ive always wanted to travel around in an RV. I never once thought about protecting it from the elements though. I really found it interesting that they make covers for RV’s and understand the importance of having an RV cover now. So I’m definitely going to have to pin this to my traveling bucket list. <3 your blog by the way!
We do not own a RV nor do we plan to buy one. But I can see that once you spend the money you would want to protect it from wind and weather. Especially during the time you are not using it. The S2 seems to be a great product.
The quality of a camper cover is very important because it needs to withstand strong winds, heat and bad weather. I’ve seen many covers that easily tore and I think that if you spend so much on your RV, you must also invest in what you use to protect it. This looks like a really excellent product to have.
Although never tried S2 but this is cool to get and cover it and keep it safe. Great and informative post!
Oh wow, I had never seen a cover for RV’s. It adequately covers up the vehicle and it doesn’t look strained a lot.
I’ve never seen an RV cover that looks as durable, well-made, and appealing as this one. I will definitely recommend this to others
Loved your National S2 Expedition RV Cover review. Super helpful! Your real-life stories about it tackling storms convinced me it’s a must-have.
I will be sharing this with my friends in Colorado! I had several who had their trailers totaled due to hail this past summer! This would give at least some protection!!!
We never covered our RV. We lived in it fulltime for 8 years! But if we did need à cover…this would be it.
what a great product to protect an RV. i have done some rv driving with my family but only rented. if i had one of my own i would definitely find a way to protect my investment.
I don’t own an RV, but I have heard many people say that they don’t think a cover matters because their RV is “exposed to the elements all the time anyway”. But covers do make a difference and your review will help buyers make a good, informed decision.
Wow, this looks like a really nice sturdy cover for your RV. My sister has a nice size RV and I bet she would be interested in this cover for her RV. This one really sounds like it can handle the outdoor weather.
It is so important to have the right cover! Thanks for sharing this review, I will pass this along to a family member that has an RV.
If I ever get a RV, I’ll be sure to get this cover. The quality sounds amazing.
RVs are not a cheap investment. It only makes sense to protect it. A great cover is a must-have. This one looks amazing.
An RV cover is so imporatant. My parents have an RV, and that was one of the first major add-ons they got for it. It helps keep such a big investment protected!
Wow! You’ll need a durable cover to cover something as big as an RV. I didn’t even know they made covers for RVs. Cool!
Looks like an excellent product. We spend a small fortune on our RVs and this looks as it will provide the protection needed.
