Sam’s outdoor adventures started early with religious camping trips. As a Pagan Priestess, the outdoors has always been a staple in her life. However, since becoming disabled at 19, Sam works towards ensuring outdoor experiences can be accessed by all without compromising on comfort. Her younger life was also spent reviewing experiences and products, having attended college to work towards making it a career before she became ill.
Writing for Camping for Women has been a blessing, She gets to do what she had wanted to but at her own pace and gets to include things she is both intrigued by and passionate about.
Lately, she has included graveyard exploration in her hobbies and tracking down the final resting places of her favourite authors in history.
In 2022 Sam and her partner are getting Handfasted- A pagan Wedding. The ceremony will be an outdoor affair, making it comfortable and accessible will provide some great content to write about and share ideas with the community.
Sam is often found outside taking her tortoise Loucie to get some exercise. Attending or performing religious rituals or simply meditating. She is mostly accompanied by her partner or friends who assist with accessibility. But if there is a body of water nearby, Sam WILL swim if she can!
