We lived for over a year in the Philippines and our favorite thing about it was the beaches and the islands. India’s beaches can definitely compare to the sights we have seen there. Love the offbeat “secret” nature of these ones too. Kudle and Paradise Beach would be our picks!

Except Diu and Orissa, I have been to all these beaches. And I agree that each one of them are so pretty. I especially loved Paradise beach in Pondicherry. Even though it was not ideal for swimming it still was so beautiful.

This is a wonderful list of beaches and with all the details hope to check out some of them during my next visit. It’s true the most popular beaches can get very crowded and I have been to some of them like Marina beach. My hometown in Kerala also has a number of small beaches where one can just relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Great share!

We were so sorry we missed the beaches on our visit to India. So much great architecture and history kept us away from the water. But I now see there are lots of great options all along the coast and not just in Goa. My pick would probably be a spot like Paradise Beach with low tourist volumes. And the chance to see dophins!

Wow, I love the concept of a secret beach! I live in Florida and all our beaches get so overcrowded on the weekends, so I’m sure an escape like this would be lovely. Would love to visit Kudle Beach especially, the blue water is gorgeous!

Good list of beaches here and thanks for the tips on what there is to do at the beach (always need a good snack bar nearby). I don’t know the coastline that well as I haven’t researched into this part of India yet (I hope to make my first visit to India in the next year or two) but I have heard that the sunsets can be a truly amazing experience near Goa. I don’t mind which beach to hit up, but my wife, as long as they are big, golden and sandy then she is happy. 🙂
